About Me

My photo
Jim Frutchey
It is no secret that the gender ratio of students at Marywood University is heavily in favor of the feminine side. This fact is certainly positive in many ways, but it does tend to minimize forums aimed at the male student. I created this blog as a haven for the men of Marywood and their reading pleasure. I will try to post a brief review (tough guys tend to be laconic) of my own of a favorite book driven by stereotypical male interests each month. Gentlemen of Marywood and like-minded females, you are invited to send me short reviews of your favorite testosterone-ridden books. The reviews should be at least a couple sentences long explaining what the book is about and why it is a favorite of yours (follow the pattern of my entries). The books may be short or long, and they may be fiction or non-fiction. I will then post the appropriate reviews (nothing lewd, vulgar, etc.) giving you credit unless you tell me otherwise, and we can build a granite-solid book list for guys. The book reviews described above may be sent to frutchey@maryu.marywood.edu or jfrutchey@gmail.com.
